Tim Bits Soccer: Ages 3 – 6 (Born 2019- 2022)
Our micro soccer program is an Active Start Program; it is made up of mixed boys and girls teams divided into two age groups ( 3/ 4 years old and 5/6 year old). There are approximately 7-9 players on each team. The season will run twice a week for 8 weeks from the beginning of May to the end of June (weather permitting). Games can be cancelled due to rain; this will be the decision of the coaches. We will be hosting a soccer Jamboree to celebrate the season at the end June.
3 and 4 year old program
The Parent Participation Program for 3 and 4 year old runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7pm at Oxford Heights Community Club (8 weeks – May and June). The soccer format will consist of 15 minutes of skills directed by the coach. Please note that parents are REQUIRED to participate during the skill portion, 20 minutes of game, 5 minute water break and a 20 minute game to complete the hour. The coaches will be on the field for the game portion.
The success of these programs is completely dependent on the parents who volunteer to be coaches, assistant coaches and those who help out at the practice/games. The soccer Conveners will host a meeting for the coaches where we will provide a Coaching Guide complete with warm-up and practice plans by week and other helpful hints.
Players should be equipped with shin pads with socks fully covering them. Cleats are encouraged but not required. Jerseys are supplied and can be picked up before the season starts. An exact date for jersey pick up will be communicated by the coach.

To All Transcona Residents and Beyond,
It’s that time of year, the 2024 outdoor soccer season is fast approaching and with the snow melting you’d almost think it was spring in the middle of winter. I'm sure everyone is getting excited to get on the pitch to have some fun. The club truly appreciates all the past and present registrants and we hope to see everyone back on the pitch for the upcoming season. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions regarding the program. This is a general email that is being sent to all the registrants on our soccer list as a registration reminder.
As always and like most community clubs, VOLUNTEER COACHES ARE NEEDED. The club is requesting any and all parents who have coached in the past, thought about coaching and/or if a few parents are willing to split duties to make a notation when you submit your registration. Please, lets not wait for each other to offer our time, take the opportunity now. Yes, there are pros and cons of coaching a sport and more specifically your own child's sport but it is ultimately all about the kids and the positive experience(s) they have and there is no better time to start coaching than now. Community clubs cannot operate without you and we will never be able to express enough our true appreciation.
Once again we cannot wait to see everyone on the pitch laughing, smiling and having fun.
